16. Ja oriģinālajā marķējumā nav norādes uz valsts vai pašvaldību institūciju, kas ļauj identificēt šaujamieroča vai šaujamieroča būtiskās sastāvdaļas piederību, pirms šaujamieroča vai šaujamieroča būtiskās sastāvdaļas atsavināšanas fiziskām vai juridiskām personām marķējumu papildina ar minēto norādi.

II. Marking of firearms and their essential components, gas weapons of category E, signal weapons and high-energy pneumatic weapons

16. If the original marking does not contain a reference to a state or local government institution which allows identification of the ownership of a firearm or essential component of a firearm, the marking shall be supplemented with the said indication before the alienation of the firearm or essential component of the firearm to natural or legal persons.
