The Prefectural Public Safety Commission, in accordance with Cabinet Order, shall hold training courses for persons who reside within its jurisdiction who seek permission to possess a hunting gun or air gun under Article 4(1)(1) and persons who seek to renew permission under Article 7-3(2), in order to teach necessary knowledge related to the following items:

(1) laws and ordinances related to the possession of hunting guns and air guns;

(2) use, storage, and related matters pertaining to hunting guns and air guns.

2. The Prefectural Public Safety Commission shall, in accordance with Cabinet Order, issue Certificates of Proof of Training Course Completion to persons who have taken the training course referred to in the preceding paragraph and have completed that curriculum.
