CHAPITRE III : LE PERMIS DE PORT D'ARME A FEU
Article 31 : Le permis de port d'arme à feu est une autorisation administrative qui donne droit à son titulaire de porter sur lui l'arme qui en est l'objet.
Il est délivré par le Ministre de la sécurité au vu des pièces administratives ci-après :
- un formulaire de demande fourni par l'administration à acquérir au prix de cinq mille (5.000) francs auprès du service de police compétent et revêtu d'un timbre fiscal de mille (1.000) francs ;
- un permis de détention ;
- un reçu d'achat ou tout autre titre de propriété ;
- deux (02) photographies d'identité.
Il doit indiquer obligatoirement les noms, numéro d'identification personnel, profession et adresse du titulaire, le numéro et la date du permis de détention ainsi que les caractéristiques de l'arme.
Article 34
Le port de toute arme à feu sans permis est prohibé. Est également prohibé le port d 'arme à feu m êm e avec permis, dans un lieu ouvert au public et dans des conditions susceptibles de troubler la paix publique ou d'intimider autrui.

CHAPTER III: PERMIT TO CARRY A FIREARM
Article 31: A firearms permit is an administrative authorisation that entitles its holder to carry the weapon in question.
It is issued by the Minister of Security on the basis of the following administrative documents
- an application form provided by the administration to be acquired at the price of five thousand (5,000) francs from the competent police department and bearing a fiscal stamp of one thousand (1,000) francs
- a possession permit;
- a receipt of purchase or any other title of ownership;
- two (02) identity photographs.
It must indicate the name, personal identification number, profession and address of the holder, the number and date of the possession permit and the characteristics of the weapon.
Article 34
The carrying of any firearm without a licence is prohibited. It is also prohibited to carry a firearm, even with a permit, in a place open to the public and under conditions likely to disturb the public peace or intimidate others.
