Law nr. 110 dated May 18, 1994 on weapons.

Law nr. 110 is the main legislative act that regulates weapons possession in the Republic of Moldova by individuals and companies. However, in 2012 the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova adopted a new law on SALW and ammunition circulation for civilian use that was drafted in accordance with the best international practice. It is expected that the new law will enter into force in 2013 after relevant legislative acts will be harmonized in accordance with the relevant provision of the new law…
