No obstante, tanto en la Ley No. 36 sobre Comercio, Porte y Tenencia de Armas de Fuego (vigente), como en el proyecto de la nueva ley que cursa en el Senado (Ley para el Control de Armas de Fuego, Municiones, Explosivos y Artículos Relacionados), se exige explicitamente que para toda actividad relacionada con armas de fuego, se necesita estar provisto de la respectiva licencia.

Nonetheless, under the current Act No. 36 on the Commerce, Carrying and Possession of Firearms and the new bill, which was submitted to the Senate (Act for the Control of Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives and Related Articles), it is explicitly required that for all activities related to firearms, one needs to hold the appropriate license.
