Marking at Import

6.13 Does your country require that SALW imported into your country be marked at the time of import? YES

6.13.1 Who is required to mark the SALW?

c) Other: Serial number, make and model: YES

6.13.3 Are there exceptions to the requirement to mark imported SALW? YES

6.13.3.1 Describe:

Exceptions are for firearms that are imported on temporary basis for e.g firearms for peace keeping and sporting

6.13.4 If marked SALW imported into your country do not bear a a unique marking when they arrive, does your country require that they be given such a marking? YES

6.13.4.1 Details:

A registration number will be given to marked SALW imported without unique marking.
