Medidas de Seguridad para la Custodia de Armas de Fuego

1. Los usuarios inscritos como coleccionistas, que tengan o soliciten tener entre 11 y 30 armas de colección, deberán cumplir con las siguientes medidas mínimas de seguridad en la instalación donde quedaran guardadas las armas:

a. Puerta de seguridad con doble chapa y llaves.
b. En caso de existir ventanas, deben estar con protección metálica lo suficientemente resistentes para impedir el acceso de personas.
c. Sistema de alarma sonora con respaldo energético ante corte intencional o imprevisto de electricidad.
d. Si el domicilio donde se guardan las armas, permanece por periodos prolongados sin moradores, el coleccionista deberá retirar los cierres de las armas y guardarlos en forma separada en otra dependencia segura.
e. Cualquier otra medida que permita dar mayor seguridad y protección a las armas de colección…

3. Las personas que posean más de 10 armas de fuego inscritas, sin importar su registro, deberán dar cumplimiento a las medidas de seguridad establecidas entre 11 y 30 armas de colección inscritas de acuerdo al numero 1 precedente.

4. Las personas que posean entre 3 y 10 armas de fuego inscritas sin importar su registro deberán custodiarlas en una caja metálica con candado y en un lugar que cuente con chapa de seguridad y se encuentre fuera del alcance de menores o personas inexpertas.

5. Las personas que posean hasta 2 armas de fuego inscritas, independiente de la clasificación en la cual se encuentren inscritas, deberán custodiarlas en un lugar seguro, con llave y que se encuentre fuera del alcance de menores o personas inexpertas.

Security Measures for Firearm Storage

1. Individuals registered as collectors, possessing or requesting to possess between 11 and 30 collectable firearms, must comply with the following basic security measures to be applied to the place where the firearms shall be kept.
a. Security door with a double lock and keys.
b. Any window must have metallic protection or be sufficiently resistant to prevent the access of others.
c. A sound alarm system with a power supply in the event of an intentional or unforeseen power cut.
d. If the place where firearms are to be kept shall remain for a long time without dwellers, the collector must remove the locks from the firearms and store the latter in other safe premises.
e. Any other mechanism that can allow for greater security and protection for the collected firearms…

3. People possessing more than 10 registered firearms, regardless of their purpose, must comply with the security measures established under point 1 above, for the 11 to 30 firearms registered for collection purposes.

4. People possessing between 3 and 10 registered firearms, independently of their purpose, must store them in a metallic case with a lock and in a place with a security lock and out of the reach of minors and inexpert individuals.

5. People possessing up to 2 registered firearms, independently of the purpose for which they have been registered, must keep them in a safe space provided with a key and out of the reach of minors and inexpert individuals.
