Articulo 55. Permiso a Menores

Los menores de edad, mayores de dieciséis años, podrán obtener permiso especial para usar arma de tiro deportivo, exclusivamente para la práctica de eventos de esta naturaleza, previa fianza notariada de su tutor en la que además consta la autorización y el compromiso de ser acompañado por un adulto responsable.

El permiso tendrá validez por un año. Los requisitos serán los mismos establecidos en el artículo 291 de la Ley, con excepción del numeral 1.

Decree No. 28-2005, Regulation to the Special Act on the Control and Regulation of Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives and Other Related Materials

Article 55. Licence to Minors

Minors who are 16 years or older may obtain a special permit to use sports firearms, exclusively for practicing such activities, upon provision of a certificate legalised by a notary stating that his guardian authorises him and assures that he shall be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The permit shall be valid for one year. The requirements shall be the same than the ones established in Article 291 of the Act, with the exception of paragraph 1.
