Articulo 1. Objeto

El presente Decreto establece las disposiciones reglamentarias de la Ley No. 510, Ley Especial para el Control y Regulación de Armas de Fuego, Municiones, Explosivos y Otros Materiales Relacionados,1 publicada en la Gaceta, Diario Oficial, No. 40 del viernes veinticinco de febrero del 2005.

Articulo 2. Aplicabilidad

Las disposiciones de la Ley y del presente Reglamento serán aplicables a las personas naturales o jurídicas que estén comprendidas dentro de sus regulaciones, entre otras, para la adquisición, posesión, inscripción, licencia, venta, importación, exportación, transporte, intermediación, recarga, fabricación, reparación, modificación y almacenaje de armas, municiones, explosivos y otros materiales relacionados en cualquiera de sus presentaciones y las materias primas para elaborar los productos regulados por la Ley.

Decree No. 28-2005, Regulation to the Special Act on the Control and Regulation of Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives and Other Related Materials

Article 1. Object

The present Decree establishes the regulatory provisions of Act No. 510, Special Act on the Control and Regulation of Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives and Other Related Materials,1 published in the official Gazette No. 40 of Friday, February twenty-five, 2005.

Article 2. Applicability

Provisions of the Act and the present Regulation shall be applicable to individuals and legal persons who fall within its regulations, amongst other, for the purchasing, possession, registration, licence, sale, import, export, transport, brokering, reloading, manufacture, repair, modification and storage of firearms, ammunition, explosives and other related materials of any shape, and raw materials to manufacture products regulated by the Act.
