Dans sa forme actuelle, ce contrôle porte sur les intermédiaires en armement dont l'activité est soumise à déclaration auprès du préfet. Les intermédiaires doivent également obtenir une autorisation (délivrée par le ministère de la défense) pour exercer leur activité. Enfin, ils sont tenus de tenir un registre de leurs activités et opérations. Un projet de loi visant à soumettre les opérations d'intermédiation à autorisation préalable a été élaboré. The control terms applicable to brokering activities are set in the Decree No. 2013-700 of 30 July 2013. In its present form, this control relates to brokers in armament whose activity is subject to declaration to the Prefect. Brokers must also obtain an authorisation (issued by the Ministry of Defence) to carry out their activity. Finally, they must keep a register of their activities and operations. A bill aiming to submit brokering operations to prior authorisation has been prepared. It shall soon be presented to the National Assembly for review…

Brokering activities are subject to control. They [brokers] must keep registers of their activities and must submit to the Ministry of Defence reports on their activities every six months.
