Guatemala no fabrica armas, por lo que no se da la exportación de éstas. Ahora bien, según el Artículo 31 de la Ley de Armas y Municiones, los fabricantes no necesitarán licencia especial de la Dirección de Control de Armas y Municiones (DIGECAM) para exportar, siempre que tal actividad se encuentre incluida en el objeto del negocio, pero tendrán que solicitar a la DIGECAM un certificado de autorización de transferencia.

6.4. Name the relevant international commitments that your Government applies or considers when assessing an application for export authorisation.
Guatemala does not manufacture firearms, so it does not export them either. However, under Article 31 of the Act on Firearms and Ammunition, manufacturers do not require a special licence from the General Directorate for the Control of Arms and Ammunition (DIGECAM) to export, provided that this activity is included in the scope of their business, but they shall have to apply for a transfer authorisation certificate to DIGECAM .
