Relevant contents

Hundreds of high-powered assault rifles, grenades, anti-tank mines and even rocket launchers are missing from Army bases in NSW and other States in what appears to be an organised theft operation….

It is believed that the weapons include hand-held Steyr rifles, submachine-guns and even .50 calibre machine-guns, which are normally mounted on tanks and other armoured vehicles. Also believed missing are rocket launchers and grenades.
